Introduction
Guilin Botanical Garden, located in the southwestern part of Guilin, is a comprehensive park that integrates scientific research, science popularization, and leisure tourism. It was established on the foundations of the Heishan Nursery and Heishan Botanical Garden. Covering an area of approximately 47.9 hectares, it is the largest land area park for sightseeing in Guilin's urban area. Its establishment has contributed significantly to the city's park layout, enhancing the ecological environment and optimizing the urban landscape. Plant Species

This area is home to over 200 species of rare and endangered plants. The garden also hosts second-level protected species such as Keteleeria fortunei and Picea asperata. The plant species in this garden demonstrate the rich biodiversity of karst forest vegetation, serving as vital examples in the face of desertification crises.
In addition to rare plants, the garden boasts a Palm Garden, occupying about 3,500 square meters, which includes over 20 species of palms and more than 300 individual plants. Notable species include Livistona chinensis, Caryota urens, and Phoenix dactylifera, arranged to reflect a subtropical atmosphere with an exotic southern charm. The Palm Garden highlights the importance of selecting appropriate locations for planting due to the palms' sensitivity to cold damage.
The Ficus Garden, known locally as "Rong City" due to the widespread planting of ficus trees, encompasses an area of approximately 3,070 square meters. It displays over ten varieties of ficus, with more than 20 large ficus trees featuring beautiful shapes and lush canopies.
